The people and ideas meets in Dubai to create and add their touch on the world of creativity. by connecting minds and towards the future vision and that’s why HH. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, unveiled the new official logo for “Expo 2020”.
The new logo gets it inspiration from the artifacts discovered archeological factory discovered by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in 2002 in the Almmermom area called “Saroj AlHadeed”. The logo displays the gold inscriptions and patterns held valuable by the Emirati civilization. This high esteemed civilization existed over 4,000 years ago. The new logo is also influenced by the Dilmun civilization, Mesopotamia, and the Pharaohs.
The logo (displayed at the Dubai Expo) has definitive implications in which the mediated circle halo lights up like the bright sun. This shows that creativity continues to flow each day. The row over the circles points out that on the eve of yesterday’s creativity, Emirates boldly moved forward towards power, sophistication, and excellence.
The unique brand of the historical heritage of the UAE shows that creative roots had been established for over 4,000 years. This establishes the fact that advanced ancient civilizations existed in Dubai for a period of time.
Sarouq Al-Hadeed is one of the major archaeological sites that have been revealed in the past few years in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is also considered to be one of the main centers of copper manufacturing for multiple tools in the area since the start of the illustrious Iron Age. It is now owned and managed by Dubai Municipality Architectural Department. The site is well-known for having a huge amount of metal ores. Thousands of rare and precious artifacts (daggers and swords) were discovered through the work of Active exploration. The exploration exposes the fact that this area had tremendous economic and religious clout in the past.
At this point, Sarouq Al-Hadeed is the most unusual site recorded in the Emirate of Dubai. The most visible site in the area is a 7 m. deep dune covered with a dense concentration of metal slag and other small fragments of metal processing such as grinding stones, abundant ceramics, and ores. The mound covers an area that is close to 1.5 ha, but is shielded on three sides by active dune fields.
The historical site was excavated by the Dubai Department of Archaeology and the Jordanian Department of Antiquities. Both distinguished organizations made an earnest effort to find priceless items that withstood the test of time. Their investigations uncovered metal objects that included incense burners, bowls, pitchers, and jewelry. Their joint effort also discovered fish hooks, daggers, various tools, and decorative items. Most of these objects are made of bronze, but a few are made of iron. The collected inventory includes a beautiful dagger with a bronze handle and iron blade. The detailed excavations also uncovered many beautiful ceramic vessels and large water jars engraved with snake decorations.
It is imperative to point out that corroborating the results of earlier campaigns must be done in a meticulous way. The new team of archaeologists (that joined the investigation of Sarouq AL-Hadeed) must also analyze the stratigraphic sequence to get familiar with its chronological periods of occupation phases.
On this special occasion, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum stated: “We adopted a strong slogan Emirati 4,000 old Expo. We have a deep historical depth of Emirati Baynunah in Abu Dhabi to Sarouk iron Dubai to Wadi Maliha Sharjah, and the end of the high mountains of Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Considering the historical depth of the old more than the year 4,000, we strongly connect with rich ancient civilizations, and we will meet and continue civilized across the Expo points after Expo new slogan becomes a powerful message to our people. We are the people of strike civilization in world history. We must send a strong message around the globe that we have been and we will keep the people continue station to the confluence of civilizations and the capital of creativity. It was here that our gifted hands made and painted gold over 4,000 years ago, and today our hands blessed the adoption of the future of the UAE for centuries to come.”
“Dubai City of Gold” was, and remains the most precious of gold minds and ideas and the arms of our beloved sons and daughters.”
